About The Brewer

I was introduced to the Brewing process by a couple crazy dudes back in my college days at CMU. After graduation and moving north - the brewing moved into my kitchen, and by kitchen I mean the whole house! Opening a brewery and sharing my take on the craft has always been a goal of mine.

The summer of 2015 my Magpie IPA won the "Judges Choice" at the Traverse City Microbrew and Music Festival . From there a friend in the industry connected me with the fine people at Burnt Marshmallow Brewing. I strive to make beer that first and foremost tastes good, in doing that I plan on using ingredients grown on our brewery’s 190 acre farm and using other local sourced ingredients.

I plan on continuing to push the envelope with our creative endeavors and by unconventionally handcrafting beer for YOU to enjoy!
